The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AC ALDO BONZI's Arnoldo Canor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos de Brito in the 4th minute of play. Mané Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Peeters in the 6th minute of play. Arnoldo Canor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlinhos de Brito's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Dário Carneiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Canor having to make a save. 18 minutes into the match, AC ALDO BONZI's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Lopes came free, but Arnoldo Canor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AC ALDO BONZI getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tomas Peeters hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Wennerberg got free with Arnoldo Canor in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edelmiro Jago in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Viana saved Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ from getting behind. Arnoldo Canor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Carneiro in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Blair in the 30th minute of play forced Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalkeeper Mané Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Edelmiro Jago put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mané Viana. Mané Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Jago's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, AC ALDO BONZI's goalkeeper Arnoldo Canor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chico de Brito. 41 minutes into the match, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Blair came free, but Mané Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match AC ALDO BONZI got a corner. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zacarias Lesardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Zacarias Lesardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mané Viana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mané Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Blair's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mattias Wennerberg made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Vitório da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mané Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Lesardo in the 59th minute of play. Arnoldo Canor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos de Brito in the 61st minute of the match. After 62 minutes of play, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Carlinhos de Brito made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Canor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ made a substitution. Jano Donato replaced Carlinhos de Brito. Chico de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Canor having to interfere. Charis Markas hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes AC ALDO BONZI got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Peeters. Arnoldo Canor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led AC ALDO BONZI's Zacarias Lesardo to fire away a dangerous shot which Mané Viana despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dadá Hoffmann hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. AC ALDO BONZI made a substitution. Diego York replaced Dave Blair. In the 86th minute Jano Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Canor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Jago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AC ALDO BONZI's Anselmo Cordero was substituted for Zacarias Lesardo. 91 minutes into the game, Dário Carneiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Arnoldo Canor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Adam Kopacz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Canor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
