The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, LanParty's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Ulbak came free, but Ramon Domiku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Domiku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanildo Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanildo Luis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Domiku read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Joinville City - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kleanthis Tripitsidis got free with Haji Sarap in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Geovanildo Luis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, Geovanildo Luis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramon Domiku. LanParty's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanildo Luis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Ronaldinho Gaucho came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Joinville City - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldinho Gaucho couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in LanParty's zone, Geovanildo Luis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Domiku came out of the goal and Geovanildo Luis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 minutes of play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Domiku was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Hulberto came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Ramon Domiku threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Geovanildo Luis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ramon Domiku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, LanParty's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanildo Luis came free, but Ramon Domiku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Geovanildo Luis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Domiku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kleanthis Tripitsidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kleanthis Tripitsidis in the 72nd minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Domiku showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Arce in the 89th minute of play forced LanParty's goalkeeper Ramon Domiku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by LanParty's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. João Francisco Arce was slow to take the kick. During this time Joinville City - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Henrique Camargo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramon Domiku in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 93 minutes into the match, LanParty's goalkeeper Ramon Domiku had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Abraão. Adhemar Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Domiku having to interfere.
