Hector Fidencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Yang Zhan Xiao came free, but Anderson Laguna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unión De Santa Fe's Hector Fidencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Le Shu in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Kostas Skilitsis took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Anderson Laguna to make any attempt to save it. Hector Fidencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Le Shu in the 22nd minute of the match. Anderson Laguna made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when 狄朗沙 sent off a good shot on target. Xu Le Shu took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Fidencio. Hector Fidencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Vânderson Penha came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the SRP-Laguna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vânderson Penha couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Moise in the 32nd minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Anderson Laguna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Unión De Santa Fe's Camilo Bartuelo got a free kick in the 34th minute. Xu Le Shu hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Unión De Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Xu Le Shu came free, but Hector Fidencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SRP-Laguna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Kostas Skilitsis could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Anderson Laguna however easily saved by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 狄朗沙 to make the kick off. Xu Le Shu struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Hector Fidencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SRP-Laguna. SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 狄朗沙 in the 64th minute of play. After 65 minutes SRP-Laguna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ernesto Moise who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jorge Gotzon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna did a great save. After 65 minutes, Jorge Gotzon made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 69 in the game by Xu Le Shu from a close distance when the talented Hector Fidencio managed to make a qualified save. Unión De Santa Fe's players were relieved. When Arnaldo Vellito fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unión De Santa Fe's protests and gave Arnaldo Vellito a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SRP-Laguna booed when Unión De Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Vellito didn't get a good kick on the ball. SRP-Laguna made a substitution. Frasier Crane replaced Xu Le Shu. Ernesto Moise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Laguna having to interfere. Hector Fidencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frasier Crane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Unión De Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Barbaros Seçkin came free, but Hector Fidencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SRP-Laguna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
