Jairo Elixio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jairo Elixio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Vítor Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Elixio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Vítor Ramos went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Jaime Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Tancredo in the 93rd minute. José Vítor Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Elixio having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Corinthians had played much better football throughout.
