Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Álvaro Gaspar started the match with the kick off. Jairo Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Gaspar in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darío Cvitanich in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dito Novaes saved VARGINHA FC from getting behind. The throw-in from Benito Gaufred in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by JS 22's Alfonso Cilio. Dito Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Cvitanich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, JS 22's Jairo Elixio got control of the ball when Álvaro Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes in the game, Álvaro Gaspar dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. JS 22's Jairo Elixio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save JS 22 from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute of the match, Álvaro Gaspar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Elixio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, VARGINHA FC's Mauro Galvão got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jairo Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Dito Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Cvitanich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Elixio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro Gaspar in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Tancredo in the 35th minute of play forced VARGINHA FC's goalkeeper Dito Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darío Cvitanich in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dito Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The JS 22 fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when JS 22's Darío Cvitanich looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd minute, VARGINHA FC's Mauro Galvão seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mauro Galvão the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of VARGINHA FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mauro Galvão had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in VARGINHA FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! The referee gave JS 22 a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Barnaba Kilarski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes. 0-2. 46 minutes into the match, JS 22's goalkeeper Jairo Elixio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvin Thedin. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Josué Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VARGINHA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josué Paiva took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Elixio. Jairo Elixio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Alvin Thedin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the VARGINHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvin Thedin couldn't finish the play. Jairo Elixio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Barnaba Kilarski from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Dito Novaes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. VARGINHA FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after JS 22's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Josué Paiva took the corner. Alvin Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jairo Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. JS 22's attentive Alfonso Cilio managed to snatch the ball when Leonel Ribota made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Jairo Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Thedin in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Darío Cvitanich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dito Novaes was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After 73 played minutes JS 22 got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Hustaz. If Alvin Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dito Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Tancredo in the 77th minute of play. Jairo Elixio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of VARGINHA FC booed when JS 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Cilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Paiva in the 93rd minute of play forced JS 22's goalkeeper Jairo Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, JS 22's Arnulfo Tancredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dito Novaes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. VARGINHA FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
