Apolo Maule stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natã Quintal's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Apolo Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Tavares in the 27th minute of the match. When Luisito Jesco fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL TITAN M.P.'s protests and gave Luisito Jesco a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes EL TITAN M.P. got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Jesco. Apolo Maule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Alens Kalimans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL TITAN M.P.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alens Kalimans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natã Quintal got free with Apolo Maule in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Apolo Maule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute Natã Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Natã Quintal made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Sergio Vitin managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL TITAN M.P.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Vitin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natã Quintal scored 1-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Maule, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the EL TITAN M.P. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nova Venécia-ES.
