The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimeno Abadia was the one to do the kick off. Leonel Paranaense showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. After some careless play in the Brave Bird defense, Luís Gustavo Botelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Fernado. The Brave Bird fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Fernado should have stopped the shot. Luís Gustavo Botelho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-16 in the 84th playminute. In the 87th minute, Natã Quintal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Venécia-ES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-17. Rolando Fernado was a little too slow when Leonel Paranaense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-18. The supporters of Nova Venécia-ES booed when Brave Bird was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Gustavo Botelho took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Fernado. Rolando Fernado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-19. When the match was over Nova Venécia-ES could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brave Bird throughout the match.
