A nice corner shot did that Indar Campon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gilbert Podolski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Pogoń Stawiszyn getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mieszko Bartelak hit a great ball. Gilbert Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Bailey in the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Santo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Podolski saved Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Zbyszko Furgal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Stawiszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbyszko Furgal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Giraldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilbert Podolski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Forever Tango's Juan Giraldo got control of the ball when Ryszard Pilipiec tried to sneak it across the goal line.
