In the 3rd minute Charly Tevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragon Hunter's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristian Emeterio in the 4th minute. The corner led Dragon Hunter's Dionisio Hurko to fire away a dangerous shot which Aristides Barea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 6 minutes O rey Iván's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristian Emeterio who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Carolo Nuxila almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but O rey Iván's Aristides Barea did a great save. O rey Iván's Aristides Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Tevez in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Tevez in the 13th minute of play forced O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charly Tevez might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Barea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charly Tevez ran back to his position shaking his head. Aristides Barea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Tevez in the 16th minute of play. Gerardo Oalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihály Fülep in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Tevez in the 21st minute of play forced O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Charly Tevez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of O rey Iván's Aristides Barea. Aristides Barea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 28 minutes of play, Dragon Hunter's Charly Tevez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Barea was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Dragon Hunter defense, Mihály Fülep kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerardo Oalo. The Dragon Hunter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Oalo should have stopped the shot. In the 44th match minute, O rey Iván was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Garaona to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charly Tevez to make the kick off. Charly Tevez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aristides Barea firmly grabbed it by the left post. O rey Iván's Alejandro Ponciano was substituted for Modesto Garcia. Antonio Ramirez made in the 57th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Baldomiro Valentine however managed to control. Aristides Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Valentine in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Dragon Hunter were awarded a corner. Cristian Emeterio went to the cornerflag to take it. 61 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charly Tevez. Gerardo Oalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Fliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Antonio Ramirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, O rey Iván's Aristides Barea got control of the ball when Charly Tevez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Ivan Lizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Oalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Cristian Emeterio charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Emeterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Emeterio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
