Fevzi Baykara scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anísio Aparecido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antoni Brama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Anísio Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Dunajski in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Bertassi in the 36th minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes União dos 7 FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sivert Eliasson who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Śląsk Bytom's corner Sivert Eliasson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anísio Aparecido quite easily take care of the ball. Anísio Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fevzi Baykara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoni Brama stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fernando Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After 44 minutes, Luiz Fernando Bertassi made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 50th minute, Renatinho Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gildo Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Anísio Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Sivert Eliasson sent off a good shot on target. After 56 minutes, Gildo Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União dos 7 FC and the Śląsk Bytom players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Daniel Garcia had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renatinho Sarmento during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes União dos 7 FC got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Sarmento. Ulryk Miazga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anísio Aparecido firmly grabbed it by the left post. União dos 7 FC's Anísio Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fevzi Baykara in the 64th minute of play. Anísio Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fevzi Baykara's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 72 played minutes União dos 7 FC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Silva. In the 76th minute Luiz Fernando Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Brama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anísio Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fevzi Baykara, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Fevzi Baykara hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The Śląsk Bytom supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Śląsk Bytom would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
