Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Larry Herrera kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the game, Natalio Froylan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sinforoso Candamil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Larry Herrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jaime Laurin made a huge save. When Faustino Uria fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sitges FC's protests and gave Faustino Uria a yellow card for diving instead. Faustino Uria kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Silvano Aceves kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Larry Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Gorri Fonticoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Dalmacio Basualdo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sinforoso Candamil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Gelp 22's goalkeeper Jaime Laurin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Larry Herrera. 33 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Basualdo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sitges FC's Sinforoso Candamil. Sinforoso Candamil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Natalio Froylan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sinforoso Candamil was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. A collision led to Sitges FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Garci Morales hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the game, Gelp 22's Natalio Froylan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sinforoso Candamil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Almarín Nafría hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Sitges FC's Sinforoso Candamil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Basualdo in the 46th minute of play. Gorri Fonticoba's late challenge caught a Gelp 22's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gorri Fonticoba helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gelp 22 booed when Sitges FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gorri Fonticoba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Basualdo to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Gelp 22's Dalmacio Basualdo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sinforoso Candamil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Gelp 22's Jaime Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Uria in the 59th minute of play. Jaime Laurin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Larry Herrera's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Gelp 22's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Herrera came free, but Jaime Laurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dalmacio Basualdo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sinforoso Candamil. That made the score 0-6 in the 67 minute of play. Sinforoso Candamil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Froylan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almarín Nafría hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Gorri Fonticoba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sitges FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gorri Fonticoba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcio Toxeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gelp 22's Natalio Froylan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sinforoso Candamil. That made the score 0-8 after 81 minutes of play. Gelp 22's Orlando Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Uria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Laurin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gelp 22 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
