Serafin Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Pascua, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Lauro Moreira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton. Joel Caton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Loja S.C. booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. 贺皓扬 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Chusca's zone, Felix Pascua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Eate came out of the goal and Felix Pascua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Moreira in the 24th minute of play. Lauro Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Moreira in the 27th minute of play. Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Gipils in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Lauro Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Caton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Moreira in the 39th minute of play forced Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Joel Caton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Loja S.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herman Arvidsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atletico Chusca's players had a chance to rest. In the 48th minute, Herman Arvidsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Atletico Chusca made a substitution. Leonardo Gumaro replaced Baldomero Montae. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lauro Moreira to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Lauro Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Joel Caton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reasco Landeros's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Chusca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reasco Landeros helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Loja S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Reasco Landeros. Loja S.C.'s Luis-Antonio Barraza was substituted for Felix Pascua. Club Atletico Chusca's Serafin Eate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Gipils in the 64th minute of play. Jose Aumada hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Club Atletico Chusca's Alberto Confesor was substituted for Herman Arvidsson. Jose Aumada kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Caton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. In the 74th minute of the match Club Atletico Chusca got a corner. Loja S.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Richie Craig ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Victor Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Confesor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel Caton. That made the score 1-7 in the 79 minute of play. Lauro Moreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Caton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th minute, Lauro Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Chusca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. In the 91st minute, Fabian Sala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Caton came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Chusca's Alberto Confesor. But to his dismay, Alberto Confesor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atletico Chusca had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
