Dacian Iurea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Pascua in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Vedeja in the 12th minute of play forced FC Berea's goalkeeper Dacian Iurea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Loja S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jose Aumada. Rodion Cămătaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Caton having to interfere. Alonzo Gipils fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Iurea having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Felix Pascua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loja S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience was convinced that Felix Pascua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dacian Iurea was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Olimpiu Tapalagă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Joel Caton made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Pascua was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, FC Berea's Dacian Iurea got control of the ball when Victor Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Loja S.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reasco Landeros in the 59th minute. Jose Aumada kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Jose Aumada kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Dacian Iurea never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. Fabricio Vedeja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dacian Iurea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loja S.C. made a substitution. Hidalgo Gallegos replaced Justavino Centeno. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Loja S.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodion Cămătaru was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Berea's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Berea's Rodion Cămătaru to fire away a dangerous shot which Joel Caton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Basarab Arotăriței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Joel Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Peres to maneuver through the defense. Victor Peres might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacian Iurea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Peres ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basarab Arotăriței in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Caton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes, Basarab Arotăriței made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC Berea getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Codruț Plop hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, FC Berea's goalkeeper Dacian Iurea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabricio Vedeja. Rodion Cămătaru thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Dacian Iurea, a very annoying self made goal in the 87th minute which led to 2-5. Dacian Iurea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Sala in the 89th minute. In the last second Dacian Iurea throw himself and got hold of the ball when Victor Peres in the 92ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Peres got free with Dacian Iurea in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loja S.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
