Peñarol's corner Jimeno Infante fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lajos Révész quite easily take care of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claris Quiroga was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match UD Fuerteventura got a corner. C.A. Peñarol's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geovani Barral ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Geovani Barral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xaiver Rosende quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gong Ao Guang in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lajos Révész saved UD Fuerteventura from getting behind. With an all-out effort, C.A. Peñarol's Lajos Révész threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gong Ao Guang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 60th minute, Gong Ao Guang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lajos Révész. The goal made the score 0-5. Lajos Révész made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gong Ao Guang in the 65th minute. Gong Ao Guang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lajos Révész having to interfere. Gong Ao Guang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. Peñarol's Xaiver Rosende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Platon Dorado in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Gong Ao Guang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lajos Révész. Gong Ao Guang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. C.A. Peñarol's Anselmo Velin was substituted for Gong Ao Guang. In the 80th minute, Geovani Barral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xaiver Rosende was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. UD Fuerteventura's Ismael Munoz was substituted for Basilio Quintero. In the 84th minute, C.A. Peñarol's Anselmo Velin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lajos Révész. Lajos Révész yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. When Claris Quiroga came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the UD Fuerteventura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claris Quiroga couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Velin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lajos Révész read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Xaiver Rosende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Barral in the 95th minute of play. C.A. Peñarol's Xaiver Rosende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Barral in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over C.A. Peñarol could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UD Fuerteventura throughout the match.
