Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Travassos in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ReAl Coholicos's Rogelio Lico got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Maximiliano Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Villa Gordiani's Allan Saraiva threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ove Bergman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Villa Gordiani were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after ReAl Coholicos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Otang Irawan took the corner. 24 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Travassos came free, but Iker Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Allan Saraiva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Villa Gordiani's Natã de Salles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Allan Saraiva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Natã de Salles sped through ReAl Coholicos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Allan Saraiva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Travassos in the 31st minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Iker Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, ReAl Coholicos's goalkeeper Allan Saraiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrizio Canzano. Allan Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Bergman in the 39th minute of the match. Amos Ruggeri kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Amos Ruggeri got a free kick in the 49th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baiona Encinas made a kick off. Linus Blomqvist hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Iker Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Bilintx in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Baiona Encinas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iker Casillas. That made the score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. Allan Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Marrone in the 61st minute of play. Villa Gordiani's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Otang Irawan in the 64th minute. In the 64th match minute, ReAl Coholicos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baiona Encinas to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Baiona Encinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Casillas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baiona Encinas went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 77 minutes of play, Villa Gordiani's Arrigo Marrone made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Saraiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Baldovino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iker Casillas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ove Bergman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Prospero Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Casillas having to interfere. Baiona Encinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Casillas having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Prospero Cibran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Villa Gordiani were the better team. Villa Gordiani's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
