Gong Ao Guang ran back to his position shaking his head. Iker Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Ao Guang in the 41st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gong Ao Guang got free with Iker Casillas in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 97th minute Anselmo Velin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A. Peñarol's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
