In the 7th minute Fulgencio Nel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Kloczko, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Eleuterio Maraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Nel came free, but Guaberto Playo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifacio Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Nafarroa in the 22nd minute of the match. Guaberto Playo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abel Esiquio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Nafarroa in the 28th minute of play forced Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Bonifacio Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Eugenio Fliz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Playo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Txomin to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Silva came free, but Guaberto Playo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Italia booed when Atletico Calamar Saavedra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Italia's zone, Ruperto Txomin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Playo came out of the goal and Ruperto Txomin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the game, Redas Baliukonis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Calamar Saavedra the free kick. Serginho Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
