In the 22nd minute Rolando Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Volens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Cuadrado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Van Bever, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when De Beverpatrouille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Van Bever didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Loui Volens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainerio Obis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loui Volens didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. With a little luck, De Beverpatrouille's Loui Volens got control of the ball when Olaf Varela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Van Bever in the 81st minute of play. Rolando Amorebieta took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loui Volens. Loui Volens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hu Bang Zhou during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The De Beverpatrouille fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boca Juniors were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
