In the 5thth minute of the game Carlos Alberto Tevez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Golozos's Jorrin Pla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Feliciano Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute of the match, Feliciano Ponce got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pål Sefastsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorrin Pla saved CD Golozos from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Melander in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorrin Pla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Melander in the 21st minute of play forced CD Golozos's goalkeeper Jorrin Pla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorrin Pla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Carlos Alberto Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When National Team Cape-Verde's Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Golozos's goalie prevented a goal. Jorrin Pla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Melander in the 27th minute of play. Jorrin Pla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Melander in the 31st minute of the match. Jorrin Pla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 34th minute of play. CD Golozos's Jorrin Pla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match National Team Cape-Verde got a corner. CD Golozos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fredric Melander ran over to the corner to take the kick. National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorrin Pla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barros Guau in the 38th minute of play. Jorrin Pla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 42nd minute of the match. Jorrin Pla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Yin Yang Wei kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Alberto Tevez made a kick off. Jorrin Pla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 52nd minute. Carlos Alberto Tevez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. National Team Cape-Verde's Bennvar Post was substituted for Carlos Alberto Tevez. CD Golozos's Jorrin Pla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save CD Golozos from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Bennvar Post's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorrin Pla was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the game, National Team Cape-Verde's Bennvar Post nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorrin Pla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bennvar Post sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, CD Golozos's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Post came free, but Jorrin Pla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to National Team Cape-Verde getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Roland Björklund hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bennvar Post got free with Jorrin Pla in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorrin Pla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Post, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennvar Post received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorrin Pla came out and tried to block the shot, but Bennvar Post slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 90th minute. A nice corner shot did that Leon Fasgar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorrin Pla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The National Team Cape-Verde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing National Team Cape-Verde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
