An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Ramalho in the 34th minute of play forced Drafi's goalkeeper Victor Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zladko Terdič in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Zija Pleteršek made a precise shot to the right of Victor Paez. Drafi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the Drafi defense, Zladko Terdič kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Paez. The Drafi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Paez should have stopped the shot. The Drafi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Milky Way were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agnaldo Ramalho to make the kick off. With his leg Victor Paez managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Milky Way's Ernes Flakus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 61 minutes of play, Milky Way's Zladko Terdič made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Paez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Milky Way's Armin Gradin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victor Paez. Victor Paez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Klemen Mikuž took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iakovos Kapetanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernes Flakus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Paez having to interfere. The Drafi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Milky Way were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
