Noel Braga had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Marick Brunt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 26th minute, FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Kjellman might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Braga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Kjellman ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's goalkeeper Noel Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Mendes. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
