Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Traian Moldovan started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Traian Moldovan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Vennerlund was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Olimpiu Mustea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tomas Vennerlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Traian Moldovan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Tomas Vennerlund made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Boström came free, but Ionel Panaitoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IFK Ranger's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Traian Moldovan scored to the left of an out of position Tomas Vennerlund, making the score, 1-0. Phoenix Strikers's Ionel Panaitoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Boström in the 20th minute of play. Ivan Galtero charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Galtero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Strikers's Ivan Galtero got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes of play, IFK Ranger's Vidar Lustig made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionel Panaitoiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Traian Moldovan in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Vennerlund saved IFK Ranger from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Ranger's zone, Ivan Galtero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Vennerlund came out of the goal and Ivan Galtero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Kacper Pozorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Panaitoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Galtero in the 34th minute of play forced IFK Ranger's goalkeeper Tomas Vennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, IFK Ranger's goalkeeper Tomas Vennerlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Galtero. When Olimpiu Mustea came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Phoenix Strikers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Mustea couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Ranger's zone, Traian Moldovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Vennerlund came out of the goal and Traian Moldovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Ionel Panaitoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidiu Popescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Vennerlund having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kacper Pozorski was the one to do the kick off. In the 66th minute Cristinel Eftimiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When 박 엄 fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Ranger's protests and gave 박 엄 a yellow card for diving instead. Phoenix Strikers's Horaţiu Dinulescu was substituted for Mauricio Quentin. In the 71st minute, Kacper Pozorski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Phoenix Strikers booed when IFK Ranger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Mikaelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Vennerlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olimpiu Mustea went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the match, IFK Ranger's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Moldovan came free, but Tomas Vennerlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Vennerlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Traian Moldovan's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Tomas Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Mustea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Tomas Vennerlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Traian Moldovan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Pavel Haaland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Strikers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the IFK Ranger players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Phoenix Strikers.
