After 23 played minutes Chacarita Futsal got a freekick which was hit by Xesc Labarra. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Idar Reistad in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ángel Santoro saved Chacarita Futsal from getting behind. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chacarita Futsal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olimpiu Mustea was slow to take the kick. During this time Phoenix Strikers's players had a chance to rest. Olimpiu Mustea made a great header on Phoenix Strikers's corner, it was just that Chacarita Futsal's Miguel Ángel Santoro managed to reach the ball for a save.
