Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Nicolás Grau was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergio Rochet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 17th minute of the game Lochlainn Holt made a throw-in which Wilson Severino played forward. Sergio Rochet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Manzano in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Adama Traore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sbârcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Adama Traore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Sbârcea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Adama Traore came free, but Daniel Sbârcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Daniel Sbârcea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 37 played minutes Orihuela Club de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Sampil. Daniel Sbârcea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Pazura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 91 minutes of play, Uí Fergusa's Adama Traore made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Sbârcea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Uí Fergusa's Walery Pazura got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uí Fergusa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
