The referee ignored TALLERES's protests and gave Maciej Karwowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, TALLERES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Karwowski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cobresal booed when TALLERES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Katia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Karwowski came free, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cobresal's Dino Scapini got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, TALLERES's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Quintero came free, but Iker Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Björnfot in the 35th minute of the match. Iker Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silverio Medardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. Maciej Karwowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Quintero to make the kick off. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Björnfot, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gregorio Quintero in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iker Medina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cobresal's Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Karwowski in the 95th minute of play.
