To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siro Elia came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Perros del sur's CJ Riquelme. But to his dismay, CJ Riquelme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 45th minute, Unai Cobos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Siro Elia was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Siro Elia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Donato Viator managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perros del sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Viator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Elia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rocco FC's Rodrigo Lugo got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, CJ Riquelme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perros del sur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 82 minutes into the match, Rocco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Aimar came free, but Siro Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
