The supporters of United booed when FC Vlahuță was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Trobbiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zlatan Gigant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11thth minute of the game Zlatan Gigant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Vlahuță's Mihai Rusu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mihai Rusu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zlatan Gigant's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute United were awarded a corner. Modesto Peirano went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Mikelar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mihai Rusu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mihai Rusu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatan Gigant in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Zlatan Gigant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihai Rusu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mihai Rusu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Peirano in the 27th minute of play. Adam Cosoreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mihai Rusu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatan Gigant, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. United's Sabahattin Erten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save United from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Zlatan Gigant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Rusu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zlatan Gigant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Rusu having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When Zlatan Gigant got free in front of the goal in the 52nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Mihai Rusu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Zlatan Gigant's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihai Rusu was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute of the match United got a corner. FC Vlahuță's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modesto Peirano ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Zlatan Gigant managed to get in a good position for a shot. United's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatan Gigant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihai Rusu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC Vlahuță's Augustin Tomozei got a free kick in the 59th minute. Adam Cosoreanu made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcelo Trobbiani however managed to control. After 65 minutes of play, United's Zlatan Gigant made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihai Rusu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, FC Vlahuță's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Peirano came free, but Mihai Rusu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes FC Vlahuță's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Modesto Peirano who took care of the corner kick. Ernesto Vermudo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Sabahattin Erten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esa Hagelberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Zlatan Gigant could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Mihai Rusu however easily saved by the left post. Hong Hong was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Adam Cosoreanu made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Costin Babarada however managed to control. 90 minutes into the game, United's Zlatan Gigant nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihai Rusu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Ernesto Vermudo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
