An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nieminen in the 5th minute of play forced Carnot's goalkeeper Cotera Meca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Alessandro Poso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carnot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Carnot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Poso to maneuver through the defense. Cotera Meca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nieminen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Traian Iorda in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cotera Meca saved Carnot from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Cevallos Trevino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Carnot defense, Kyösti Puumala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cotera Meca. The Carnot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cotera Meca should have stopped the shot. Carnot's Cotera Meca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nieminen in the 21st minute of play. Traian Iorda scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cotera Meca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cotera Meca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nieminen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans booed when Carnot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villegas Vozmediano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Carnot's Edwin Biembengén got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Carnot's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nieminen came free, but Cotera Meca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Ali Nieminen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Cotera Meca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cotera Meca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Iorda, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Traian Iorda took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cotera Meca. Cotera Meca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Eldur Heido managed to get in a good position for a shot. SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's supporters rose to their feet, but Eldur Heido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cotera Meca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Traian Iorda kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Cotera Meca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nieminen, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Carnot defense, Jerry Knowles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cotera Meca. The Carnot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cotera Meca should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Cotera Meca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Nieminen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 53 minute of play. In the 56th minute, SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's Ali Nieminen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cotera Meca. Cotera Meca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Cotera Meca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Traian Iorda's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the Carnot defense, Ali Nieminen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cotera Meca. The Carnot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cotera Meca should have stopped the shot. After 68 played minutes SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans got a freekick which was hit by Kyösti Puumala. Cotera Meca was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Ali Nieminen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ali Nieminen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Thanks to some nice moves Ali Nieminen could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Cotera Meca however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Carnot's Cotera Meca got control of the ball when Ali Nieminen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carnot:s Cotera Meca showed great skill when he stopped Traian Iorda:s penalty. In the 78th minute Traian Iorda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cotera Meca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's Jerry Knowles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cotera Meca. That made the score 0-11 after 82 minutes of play. If Traian Iorda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's Jerry Knowles got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Carnot getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Cornelio Alvaro hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Traian Iorda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cotera Meca was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After 93 played minutes Carnot got a freekick which was hit by Cevallos Trevino. In the 95th match minute, Carnot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Alvaro to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Carnot defense, Ali Nieminen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cotera Meca. The Carnot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cotera Meca should have stopped the shot. SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
