With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Baraquiel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bendito Sea El Fernet getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Victoriano Oro hit a great ball. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Kosowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Jacinto de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Baraquiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bendito Sea El Fernet's Celso Ruisko was substituted for Gregorio Pancho. 52 minutes into the game, Jacinto de Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. PIRATAS TFP were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Bendito Sea El Fernet's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clemente Pires took the corner. Clemente Pires made a great header on PIRATAS TFP's corner, it was just that Bendito Sea El Fernet's Bernardo Baraquiel managed to reach the ball for a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bendito Sea El Fernet players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PIRATAS TFP.
