The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Maria Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Goizeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A collision led to Riverzone getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Esteban Mancio hit a great ball. When Luís Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Mineiro's protests and gave Luís Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Lucas Goizeder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atlético Mineiro's José Maria Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Maria Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Goizeder in the 14th minute of play. A hard shot 25 in the game by Lamine Yambao from a close distance when the talented Ezequiel Centurión managed to make a qualified save. Riverzone's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Goizeder in the 27th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper José Maria Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Riverzone's goalkeeper Ezequiel Centurión had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jude Bellingham. In the 34th minute Lucas Goizeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Riverzone's Lucas Goizeder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Maria Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Clube Atlético Mineiro's José Maria Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Goizeder in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Lucas Goizeder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Maria Carvalho. Clube Atlético Mineiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Goizeder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jude Bellingham to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Mineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Mihály Tótfalusi came free, but José Maria Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Lucas Goizeder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. José Maria Carvalho came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Riverzone's Lucas Goizeder. But to his dismay, Lucas Goizeder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético Mineiro defense, Lucas Goizeder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Carvalho. The Clube Atlético Mineiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Riverzone's Jacobo Urbasa was substituted for Gabriel Erruki. Riverzone made a substitution. Calle Jakobsson replaced Lucas Goizeder. Riverzone made a substitution. Esequiel Barco replaced Esteban Mancio. Enzo Díaz hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Mineiro's Ernani Mesquita got a free kick in the 81st minute. 87 minutes into the match, Calle Jakobsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Maria Carvalho, 1-7. The supporters of Clube Atlético Mineiro booed when Riverzone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Fagondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Clube Atlético Mineiro fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Clube Atlético Mineiro's Jude Bellingham looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
