Nicklas Vennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Claus in the 7th minute of play. 于飞珂 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Leoiar in the 9th minute of the match. Florencio Leoiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 于飞珂 having to interfere. Nicklas Vennerlund made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Anibal Heriberto sent off a good shot on target. After 17 minutes of play, El Patriarca ®'s Luiz Eduardo Batista made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 于飞珂 was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 20 minutes, Florencio Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Patriarca ®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Leoiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Roderigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Nicklas Vennerlund made a huge save. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quantum FC's goalkeeper 于飞珂, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, El Patriarca ®'s Nicklas Vennerlund got control of the ball when Anibal Heriberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Quantum FC booed when El Patriarca ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Rojelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Heriberto to make the kick off. Luiz Eduardo Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 于飞珂. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
