Phillip Glerum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute Zé Bani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Glerum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 15th minute of play. When Teo Martxelin fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LTA FC's protests and gave Teo Martxelin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Teo Martxelin got a free kick in the 19th minute. Antonio Alzamendi charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Alzamendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dalmacio Ebardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Ebardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Alzamendi. Peter-Jan De Brouwer struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Dalmacio Ebardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saco FC. After the first half LTA FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Bani to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Saco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Ticho came free, but Phillip Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on LTA FC's corner Godofredo Ermengol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Phillip Glerum quite easily take care of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Saco FC's goalkeeper Phillip Glerum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Petri. 73 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Malam Drage came free, but Dalmacio Ebardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match Chris Dhaussy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmacio Ebardo skillfully saved the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Saco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Bani came free, but Phillip Glerum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, LTA FC's Phillip Glerum threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zé Bani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 94th minute Antonio Alzamendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Bani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chants of LTA FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Saco FC had held the ball for most of the match.
