Tom Kree received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dariusz Ziombkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinos Nebegleras in the 5th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Nebegleras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Gert Varusk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dariusz Ziombkowski. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. 14 minutes into the game, Mateusz Solecki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AKS Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ the free kick. After a rather tough play, AKS Chorzów's Mateusz Solecki got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Nebegleras came free, but Dariusz Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Marinos Nebegleras took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Dariusz Ziombkowski to make any attempt to save it. Milosz Huk kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. AKS Chorzów's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Gert Varusk scored to the left of an out of position Dariusz Ziombkowski, making the score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anestis Roumelos in the 32nd minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Varusk took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dariusz Ziombkowski. Dariusz Ziombkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Zacharias Kapellos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dariusz Ziombkowski made a huge save. Marinos Nebegleras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dariusz Ziombkowski having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marinos Nebegleras to make the kick off. Dariusz Ziombkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marinos Nebegleras's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Marinos Nebegleras managed to work through AKS Chorzów's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Marinos Nebegleras dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 56 minutes into the match, AKS Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Varusk came free, but Dariusz Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Gert Varusk made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dariusz Ziombkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dariusz Ziombkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Varusk in the 61st minute of the match. Dariusz Ziombkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gert Varusk's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 65 played minutes AKS Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Solecki. In the 70th minute, Marinos Nebegleras made a precise shot to the right of Dariusz Ziombkowski. AKS Chorzów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Dariusz Ziombkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marinos Nebegleras went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Kree in the 82nd minute of play. Emil Wielkopolski kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Zacharias Kapellos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dariusz Ziombkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Varusk, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Zacharias Kapellos took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dariusz Ziombkowski. Dariusz Ziombkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinos Nebegleras in the 93rd minute of play. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
