Jesus Llope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, BARRILETE COSMICO's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Oton came free, but Jesus Llope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chimborazo A.F.C's Vladimiro Chuse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Chimborazo A.F.C from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the game, BARRILETE COSMICO's Eloy Dubardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimiro Chuse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eloy Dubardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucas Langoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute.
