The INTERISTAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ntinos Balouris should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Brayden McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ntinos Balouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Bergdal in the 25th minute of play forced INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Ntinos Balouris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryan Giggs scored 0-5 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ntinos Balouris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernanco Muslera made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Adriano Imperatore sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, INTERISTAS's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Giggs came free, but Ntinos Balouris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Brayden McPaul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emotep SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Emotep SK booed when INTERISTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The INTERISTAS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Emotep SK were winning 0-7.

54 minutes into the match, INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Ntinos Balouris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gencer Hüdayioğlu. After 55 minutes, Adriano Imperatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTERISTAS and the Emotep SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to INTERISTAS getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adriano Imperatore hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencer Hüdayioğlu in the 56th minute of play forced INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Ntinos Balouris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çetin Onar kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ryan Giggs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ntinos Balouris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Brayden McPaul notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of INTERISTAS's Ntinos Balouris. Ntinos Balouris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Gencer Hüdayioğlu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ntinos Balouris. That made the score 0-9 in the 67 minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Emotep SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özgür Acunalp to maneuver through the defense. Fernanco Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Imperatore in the 73rd minute of play. Ntinos Balouris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gencer Hüdayioğlu went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Emotep SK made a substitution. Emrah Dönmez replaced Şeray Hepyener. Ntinos Balouris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Giggs in the 79th minute of the match. Ntinos Balouris was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Gencer Hüdayioğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gencer Hüdayioğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. Emotep SK's Sezen Erencan was substituted for Ali Atıf Rasi. 85 minutes into the match, Rikard Bergdal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ntinos Balouris. INTERISTAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rikard Bergdal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Kamer Işıner was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 90 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in INTERISTAS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! In the 94th minute Ryan Giggs suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. 99 minutes into the game, Brayden McPaul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14.
