The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aitor Branca in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Leo Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Åhus Absolut F.C were awarded a corner. Lars Julin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Åhus Absolut F.C's corner Lars Julin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Javier Perpiñán quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Santiago Eriksen could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Jan-Åke Juhlin however easily saved by the left post. The corner led Dolar Blue Ψ's Valdemar Holm to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan-Åke Juhlin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Chu Xiang Li fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Juhlin having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Aitor Branca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Juhlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aitor Branca might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Åke Juhlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aitor Branca ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Dolar Blue Ψ's Jan-Åke Juhlin threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aitor Branca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Åhus Absolut F.C defense, Chu Xiang Li kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Åke Juhlin. The Åhus Absolut F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Åke Juhlin should have stopped the shot. Honu Ng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute Chu Xiang Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Juhlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dolar Blue Ψ's Chu Xiang Li in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jan-Åke Juhlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Santiago Eriksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dolar Blue Ψ made a substitution. Jan-Åke Juhlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Julian Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jan-Åke Juhlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Arnulfo Chano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dolar Blue Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Åhus Absolut F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dolar Blue Ψ.
