Börje Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Vestberg in the 29th minute of play. Alex Caspersson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Vestberg in the 33rd minute of play forced Fulham Broadway FC's goalkeeper Börje Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Ahlstedt hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Fulham Broadway FC's Börje Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Bergström in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Mazaredo AFC booed when Fulham Broadway FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvar Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mazaredo AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
