The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Miki Jungslund came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Atlanta's Marcos Berdoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Bueno. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Mugur Chiriac struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Abel Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilgaz Şirvan in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Caradaro. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Erramu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miki Jungslund in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Ilgaz Şirvan came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 24th minute. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Chwalkiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Atlanta's players had a chance to rest. Emil Chwalkiewicz made a great header on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner, it was just that Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno managed to reach the ball for a save. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio da Rocha in the 39th minute of the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilgaz Şirvan in the 45th minute of play. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Ilgaz Şirvan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 50th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caio da Rocha got free with Pankracy Glogowski in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski got control of the ball when Caio da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 64 in the game by Caio da Rocha from a close distance when the talented Pankracy Glogowski managed to make a qualified save. Club Atlético Atlanta's players were relieved. 66 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Ilgaz Şirvan came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qikiqtarjuaq FC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miki Jungslund took the corner. Lázaro Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Abel Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caio da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Pankracy Glogowski made a huge save. Ilgaz Şirvan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pankracy Glogowski made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Caio da Rocha sent off a good shot on target. Caio da Rocha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski 81 minutes into the match. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Joshua Keys was substituted for Ilgaz Şirvan. In the 90th minute, Daron Keen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Chiriac came free, but Abel Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
