Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Bale in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Mohamed Bale made a precise shot to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Brian Johnson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugur Chiriac's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Mugur Chiriac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Chiriac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 贺文斌 in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Soli Deo Gloria were awarded a corner. Mohamed Bale went to the cornerflag to take it. Club Atlético Atlanta were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Soli Deo Gloria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emil Chwalkiewicz took the corner. Mugur Chiriac struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Brian Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta. After recieving a nice pass, Club Atlético Atlanta's Emil Chwalkiewicz tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
