Axel Kinnman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cauan Botelho in the 7th minute. Sture Hellbom hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The long shot by Shi Tian Kuan in the 8th minute really tested Axel Kinnman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Nordgren in the 9th minute of play forced Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Charles de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Kinnman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Tian Kuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Atlético Capixaba's Charles de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Hellbom in the 18th minute of play. Billesholm's players were relieved. Sture Hellbom might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles de Brito. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Axel Kinnman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Charles de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Hellbom in the 34th minute of the match. When Björn Hagberg fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Billesholm's protests and gave Björn Hagberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Billesholm's Björn Hagberg got a free kick in the 38th minute. Faustão Sá hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Atlético Capixaba's Fu Jun Feng was substituted for Shi Tian Kuan. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sture Hellbom made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Botelho in the 55th minute of play forced Billesholm's goalkeeper Axel Kinnman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Atlético Capixaba were awarded a corner. Faustão Sá went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Faustão Sá almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Billesholm's Axel Kinnman did a great save. In the 62nd minute of the match Atlético Capixaba got a corner. Billesholm's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Faustão Sá ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Atlético Capixaba's corner Faustão Sá fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Axel Kinnman quite easily take care of the ball. Axel Kinnman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Baltazar Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Otto Fesik replaced Wiliam Perez. Sture Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sture Hellbom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Charles de Brito came out and tried to block the shot, but Sture Hellbom slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Botelho in the 84th minute of play forced Billesholm's goalkeeper Axel Kinnman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Faustão Sá shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Axel Kinnman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Billesholm defense, Otto Fesik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Kinnman. The Billesholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Kinnman should have stopped the shot. Atlético Capixaba's Charles de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Capixaba from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
