With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Ekialde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes of play, MKS Maczka's Eugeniusz Kolbert made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Ekialde was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Colon Primero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Fleischer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Ekialde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Eugeniusz Kolbert scored 1-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Ekialde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Ekialde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eugeniusz Kolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half MKS Maczka were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugeniusz Kolbert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Folke Samuelsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfonso Ekialde. Echegoyen AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Eugeniusz Kolbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Echegoyen AFC's Alfonso Ekialde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Celedonio Seguinus in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MKS Maczka's Cătălin Herea. Eugeniusz Kolberts short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Alfonso Ekialde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alfonso Ekialde was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Eugeniusz Kolbert capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eugeniusz Kolbert really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. 70 minutes into the match, MKS Maczka's Eugeniusz Kolbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Ekialde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugeniusz Kolbert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Alfonso Ekialde when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 73 minutes, Roch Janiczek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MKS Maczka and the Echegoyen AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, MKS Maczka's Cătălin Herea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Echegoyen AFC's Alfonso Ekialde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Echegoyen AFC from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Echegoyen AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Gaszynski came free, but Alfonso Ekialde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugeniusz Kolbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Echegoyen AFC's Alfonso Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 84th minute of play. If Eugeniusz Kolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfonso Ekialde made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Eugeniusz Kolbert sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Eugeniusz Kolbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Maczka's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugeniusz Kolbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Ekialde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celedonio Seguinus made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MKS Maczka's Cătălin Herea. MKS Maczka's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
