Spectators: 197 (Terracing: 149, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Okan Koc started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Okan Koc came free, but Gustavo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stiinta-Univ. were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Club Deportivo Águila's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgil Oargă took the corner. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Aurel Panait got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Aurel Panait shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okan Koc in the 10th minute of play. Gustavo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viteazul Flore in the 24th minute of play. Ricky Koppens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Crețu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Okan Koc in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Guimarães saved Club Deportivo Águila from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Okan Koc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Guimarães was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Aurel Panait ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Martin Crețu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Koppens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Aurel Panait left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stiinta-Univ. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gustavo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming Sheng in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Stiinta-Univ.'s Valeriu Morovan was substituted for Okan Koc. 53 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valeriu Morovan. In the 54th minute Ricky Koppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Club Deportivo Águila were awarded a corner. Dong Hui Yue went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dong Hui Yue got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martin Crețu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aurel Panait who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Gustavo Guimarães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Diniz in the 66th minute of play. Club Deportivo Águila's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Aurel Panait scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Guimarães, making the score, 0-3. Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Diniz in the 76th minute of the match. Valeriu Morovan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Gustavo Guimarães made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valeriu Morovan. Gustavo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming Sheng in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Elari Jutt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Viscarra took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Crețu. Martin Crețu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Stiinta-Univ. played a much better game than Club Deportivo Águila and deserved their victory. The Club Deportivo Águila players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
