Carlo Amadei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute, Hipolito Jerico made a precise shot to the right of Armando Paredes. ZAFIRO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 18th match minute, ZAFIRO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Donostia to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Amadei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Pero went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Mikeldi in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Paredes saved ZAFIRO FC from getting behind. Carlo Amadei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Jerico in the 39th minute of play forced ZAFIRO FC's goalkeeper Armando Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Mikeldi in the 41st minute of play. Alberto Talamo made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rigoberto Mikeldi however managed to control. 46 minutes into the game, ZAFIRO FC's Marco Pero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlo Amadei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Pero to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ZAFIRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Jerico came free, but Armando Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Marco Pero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Marco Pero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Las Momias F. C.'s Carlo Amadei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ZAFIRO FC's Marco Pero got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serter Bozlak hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Carlo Amadei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Pero in the 76th minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match ZAFIRO FC got a corner. Las Momias F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Delmiro Donostia ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Delmiro Donostia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Las Momias F. C.'s Carlo Amadei did a great save. ZAFIRO FC's Armando Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Mikeldi in the 86th minute of play. Cecilio Txaran hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Armando Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Las Momias F. C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
