Eugenio Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Ahlbeck in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Cezary Tusk could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Adilson do Vale however easily saved by the left post. It was a well-played corner which Ennio Di Marzio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Hellbom in the 26th minute of play forced Urbs LC's goalkeeper Eugenio Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Urbs LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Tusk to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pastor Ihazintu in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adilson do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the game, Reggie Clement was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Al-Slottshöjden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urbs LC the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Al-Slottshöjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reggie Clement to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Hats could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Adilson do Vale made a huge save. After 46 played minutes Gilberto Hats rounded Al-Slottshöjden's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Ihazintu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Ahlbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reggie Clement got free with Eugenio Santoro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute of the match Urbs LC got a corner. Al-Slottshöjden's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carter Musacchio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pastor Ihazintu made a great header on Urbs LC's corner, it was just that Al-Slottshöjden's Adilson do Vale managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 59th minute Pastor Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbs LC's Gervaso Abenda was substituted for Gilberto Hats. Urbs LC's Edoardo Zuccarini was substituted for Diego Lusi. Al-Slottshöjden's Adilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervaso Abenda in the 72nd minute of play. Eugenio Santoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klas Falk in the 83rd minute. Josef Hellbom hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th match minute, Al-Slottshöjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Hellbom to maneuver through the defense. After 87 played minutes, Urbs LC's Carter Musacchio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adilson do Vale came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Urbs LC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Åke Ahlbeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al-Slottshöjden's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Ahlbeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Santoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Al-Slottshöjden's Josef Hellbom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Santoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Al-Slottshöjden players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Urbs LC.
