An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Vitor Roque got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bembenfica's Alípio Rego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reggie Clement in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Al-Slottshöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Terrasi came free, but Adilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Josef Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alípio Rego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Ahlbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alípio Rego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Ahlbeck in the 17th minute of the match. Dario Orlan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bembenfica's Wilian de Mendonça got a free kick in the 27th minute. Rigoberto Enaut hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reggie Clement in the 34th minute of play forced Bembenfica's goalkeeper Alípio Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alípio Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Söderkvist in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Al-Slottshöjden's goalkeeper Adilson do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Orlan. Bembenfica's Alípio Rego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Bembenfica from getting a goal against them. After 51 minutes, Reggie Clement made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bembenfica's Alípio Rego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Al-Slottshöjden's Adilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Orlan in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bembenfica's zone, Jörgen Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alípio Rego came out of the goal and Jörgen Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Al-Slottshöjden supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Al-Slottshöjden would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
