But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anak Selby couldn't finish the play. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 62nd minute Gao Kun Mo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tạ I saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Anak Selby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Emerson Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the game, one of São Paulo Leste F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Emerson Leão had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Aurelianu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 71st minute, Manuel Aurelianu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Cipău in the 75th minute of play forced São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tạ I made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leendert Looze in the 79th minute of play. Tạ I showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gao Kun Mo in the 80th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anak Selby came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. They thanked the players of São Paulo Leste F.C. for a fine match.
