Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macabeo Sampil, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rayo Bengala's goalkeeper Artur Boruc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Floresta Negra FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lokon Pøhl in the 41st minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Alto Muro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Cole in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Boruc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Cole to strike the kick off in the second half. Andy Cole who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Artur Boruc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Egun Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macabeo Sampil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floresta Negra FC's Alexsandro Mandrak was substituted for Hector Bazkoare. After 73 played minutes Rayo Bengala got a freekick which was hit by Macabeo Sampil. Bernard Rienda kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Rayo Bengala's Muntis Stiebriņsons was substituted for Macabeo Sampil. After a rather tough play, Rayo Bengala's Bernard Rienda got a free kick in the 76th minute. Artur Boruc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Lewandowski in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Muntis Stiebriņsons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muntis Stiebriņsons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egun Pais having to interfere. Jardel Lewandowskis short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Artur Boruc to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rayo Bengala's goalie prevented a goal.
