Cléberson Mendonça started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Isidro Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 4 minutes on the clock, Richard Thompson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Clapham Rovers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS:s goal. Clapham Rovers:s Nilmar Brasil showed great skill when he stopped Martin Martxelin:s penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Francisco Toscano got free with Wang Jie Shi in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilmar Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Derwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, Clapham Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Quinn to maneuver through the defense. Nilmar Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Martxelin in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Derwin in the 14th minute of play forced Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wang Jie Shi made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Francisco Toscano in the 15th minute. JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's Wang Jie Shi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS from getting a goal against them. Clapham Rovers's Nilmar Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Martxelin in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Paranaense in the 23rd minute of play forced Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Derwin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilmar Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Nilmar Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Martin Martxelin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nilmar Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Derwin in the 35th minute of play. Isidro Derwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nilmar Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Isidro Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wang Jie Shi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Watkinson in the 43rd minute of the match. Nilmar Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Martxelin in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldinho Paranaense to make the kick off. If Ronaldinho Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute Ronaldinho Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Derwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho Paranaense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Martxelin in the 65th minute of play forced Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Martin Martxelin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nilmar Brasil, passed just outside the right post. Ronaldinho Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilmar Brasil having to make a save. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute, João Francisco Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wang Jie Shi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 78 minutes into the match, Clapham Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Derwin came free, but Nilmar Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Toscano in the 82nd minute of play forced JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's goalkeeper Wang Jie Shi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilmar Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Martxelin went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Martin Martxelin came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Martxelin couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Isidro Derwin took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Nilmar Brasil to make any attempt to save it. JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
