In the 27th match minute, Orozcos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pars Kuray to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Orozcos's zone, Marcial Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Goycochea came out of the goal and Marcial Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Silvino in the 29th minute of play forced Orozcos's goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pincha FC's goalkeeper Carlos Quentin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Orozcos's goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Roldanillo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcial Roldanillo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Goycochea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Dybala came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pincha FC booed when Orozcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Otamendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pars Kuray in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Quentin saved Pincha FC from getting behind. Sergio Goycochea made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Agustin Silvino sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcial Roldanillo to make the kick off. Carlos Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Hopkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 96th minute of the match Pincha FC got a corner. Orozcos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergio Macerio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ramon-Angel Sadurni heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 96 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's Ramon-Angel Sadurni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Goycochea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
