Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Duško Turnšek started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zlatko Goričan during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Zlatko Goričan. When HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orozcos's goalie prevented a goal. Konstantin Pančur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Dybala in the 8th minute. After 11 minutes, Duško Turnšek made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Orozcos's Sergio Goycochea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by CJ Desailly to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Anthony Hopkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Hopkins came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Konstantin Pančur could save by the left post. When HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orozcos's goalie prevented a goal. Orozcos's Sergio Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duško Turnšek in the 26th minute of play. Constantino Eguntsenti kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Duško Turnšek made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Goycochea. Orozcos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Konstantin Pančur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pars Kuray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Brite McCready. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pars Kuray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Paulo Dybala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstantin Pančur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 54 minutes, Brite McCready mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HIT Gorica and the Orozcos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brite McCready kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Orozcos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Brite McCready 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić was substituted for Duško Turnšek. In the 76th match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Lizbeth to maneuver through the defense. HIT Gorica's Rastislav Tomič was substituted for Jernej Petrovič. In the 77th minute, Delmiro Lizbeth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Paulo Dybala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstantin Pančur was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Orozcos's Rodrigo De Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orozcos's Sergio Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Istok Šabotić in the 89th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Istok Šabotić put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sergio Goycochea. HIT Gorica's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
